Tryout Details

2023 - 2024

Athletes are EXPECTED to bring their own water for each session and will have a chance to re-fill their water bottle during the Ice Resurface / Break period. 

It is recommended that athletes bring a light snack to eat between Tryout Sessions.

Phase 1 

Monday, November 13

  • 3:35pm - 4:30pm = Tryout Session 1
  • 4:30pm - 4:45pm = Ice Resurface / Break
  • 4:45pm - 6:00pm = Tryout Session 2
  • 7:00pm - 8:00pm = Team Meeting

Tuesday, November 14

  • 3:35pm - 4:45pm = Tryout Session 3
  • 4:45pm - 5:00pm = Ice Resurface / Break
  • 5:05pm - 6:15pm = Tryout Session 4
Closed to Public
 

wednesday, November 15

  • 3:35pm - 4:45pm = Tryout Session 5
  • 4:45pm - 5:00pm = Ice Resurface / Break
  • 5:05pm - 6:15pm = Tryout Session 6

Phase 1 Tryout results will be posted on this website Wednesday night.

 

Players not selected beyond Phase 1 are invited to request an evaluation feedback meeting with the coaching staff. 

Phase 2

Below is the schedule for the players that are selected to participate in the Phase 2 Tryout evaluation:

 

Thursday, November 16

  • 3:35pm - 4:45pm = Full Team Practice 
  • 4:45pm - 5:00pm = Ice Resurface / Break
  • 5:00pm - 6:15pm = Full Team Practice
     
  • 6:00pm - 8:00pm = Parent Meeting​ (at High School)

Friday, November 17

  • 2:00pm = Full Team Bus Departure (Rogers Activity Center)
  • 4:00pm = JV vs Rogers
  • 5:20pm = Varsity vs Rogers
  • 7:00pm = JV vs Eastview
  • 8:20pm = Varsity vs Eastview

Scrimmages will take place at the Rogers Activity Center.

Saturday, November 18

  • 7:45am = Full Team Bus Departure (Aldrich Arena)
  • 9:10am = Varsity vs Hill Murray
  • 10:20am = Varsity vs Hill Murray (Special Teams)
  • 11:50am = Full Team Bus Departure (Cottage Grove Ice Arena)
  • 1:00pm = JV vs Cottage Grove
  • 2:15pm = Varsity vs Cottage Grove

Scrimmages will take place at the Aldrich Arena and Cottage Grove Ice Arena.

Sunday, November 19

  • 8:30am = Snap Raise Fundraiser
  • 9:00am = Team Pictures / Media Content
  • 11:30am = Team Banner Picture (Off-Site)
